Neuwaldhaus in Bayerisch Eisenstein

Hotel Neuwaldhaus has been closed for a long time, but currently has another operator, which is mainly concerned with customer satisfaction. You will find friendly staff, warm attitude, clean, great cuisine and peaceful nature. We can only recommend.

We stayed at the Hotel Neuwaldhaus for 2 weeks. My friend and I got a room where there was a new mattress, which was great for my sore back. We arranged the food with the chef as desired. We got big portions. It was clean everywhere. We really liked the pleasant Bavarian hotel. Whenever we needed something, someone kindly took care of us.

We were thrilled with the approach of the staff. Super !!! We had a nice room overlooking the Maple. Large portions of food. Nice environment for families with children. Cleaning every day by arrangement.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 days. The room was clean and we had fresh flowers in the room. Everything smelled beautiful. There was a beautiful view from the window. We had ribs to eat, which we really liked. The staff was friendly.

There were three of us eating there today 1. Roast pork with sauerkraut and dumplings Roast pork was just gristle and fat Sauerkraut was cold Dumplings were toast 2. Spaghetti Bolognese Served cold and tasteless 3. Grilled chicken breast with fries Chicken breast was inedible and fries were cold and dry We paid 42.20 € for all the nonsense with three drinks. Was our first day of vacation and never there again Never eaten so bad 🤮🤮

Portions far too small, but the price gigantic. Schnitzel had a size of about 10cm, not to mention the children's portions of the rest of the food. Hosts could speak little to no German and did not know their own menu. Food came on stages, 3 men finished, the remaining after 15 minutes still not there. When we then ordered the bill hurried the host quickly in the kitchen to serve up the missing mini portions. Did not accept these .. Are then still in another restaurant to eat us full. Unfortunately, a star is still too much

room equipment - Furniture quite new and tasteful, the mattress of the bed but insanely lying down, the pillow cover smaller than the pillow, the TV without control, was not very usable. Only 1 miniature basket in the bathroom in 4 days no one took it out, nor did it add toilet paper !!! food - breakfast nothing extra, who is hungry will drive him away but you won't enjoy anything, the pastry was solid the first day. The coffee had a strange mark like a mold - on the last day the yoghurt was spoiled for cereals or someone mistakenly put a majolka there, we didn't investigate it anymore. Dinner small portions, non-greasy, unsalted. (attached photo - "dessert" pudding with whipped cream spray, which melted because it was served before we arrived, and "dumplings") hotel equipment - Everything is saved, the billiards had such a wavy canvas that I do not understand why they have it there, the whirlpool did not go, there are a lot of flies everywhere. staff - Reluctant if we have a drink at dinner, the lady asked us until the 3rd day, probably because there was a barbecue and there was the owner / manager. Otherwise, absolute disinterest, when I asked the first night if we could have dinner outside - the garden was right next to the dining room, the young lady would have to go about 2 meters away - she told me that it was not possible, while when there was a barbecue we had to sit there … As an emergency for 1 overnight stay without food, it works, but I definitely do not recommend a longer stay with food. (we bought through Slevomat - 4 days with half board)

I was here for the third time and the hotel is the same. But the food terrible, the first night we had a small piece of meat from the grill, half a sausage, bread and a little salad. The salad was also served for breakfast. I don't even write more dinners. It is worth noting the last evening when the potato dumplings were spinach and meat, and although I did not order for my, quite childish, children's portion, two dumplings were presented to each of them, and the meat would fit in a tablespoon. for an adult. About 4-5 years ago, the hotel was renowned for being a chef. I would love to come back, but not after this gastronomy. It is a pity that DISCOUNT PORTALS do not respond to customer reviews otherwise they would not announce the hotel in the last three years. PS: Only hotel, good, pleasant environment and clean.

When looking for a pleasant, cozy place for hiking with nice service and cozy facilities I recommend to leave this place immediately. We travel to modest mountain lodgings relatively often with my wife, but we have not experienced anything like this before. We bought the holiday through Slevomat and we were treated accordingly. Accommodation: Mountain classics, one room with double double bed and bathroom. The bed in Room 26 was downright soft with a high pillow, which is exactly what you don't want all day hiking. Miniature basket unused for the duration of your stay. No fridge. Nobody cleaned up, half a dozen to two people per stay. Three-channel TV and jammed settop box from three months ago - three programs. We didn't get the driver because people are stealing them. Catering: Absolute horror. Slevomat offers a buffet breakfast and a three-course dinner - does that sound good? Noon sports anyway anyway and a three-course dinner comes in handy. Unfortunately ... Breakfast one type of plain bread, one bread, two kinds of vegetables, cold hard boiled eggs, one salami, one ham, one cheese slice, one tuna. You feel the lowcost of everything. Dinner an even worse three-course dinner was soup, main course, and a mini salad of tomato salad. Another day just soup and half a grilled sausage and bacon, bread and a little vegetable. Three courses? No way. Wife begging if she could still get half a sausage, for example - just pay for it because she had already eaten her ration. Behavior: During the whole stay, somebody came to ask us if we would like to have a drink in the half-board. Upon arrival, the lady / lady offered us once per person any coffee from the offer during the stay. When we signed up for it, they said to wait until the next day. And then, instead of Latte, Presso told me we were not entitled to Latte. We are not demanding people, we can endure a lot but never again ...

Comfortable hotel, clean rooms, all in Czech. Some may mind slightly elderly equipment, but it doesn't matter. Pleasant breakfasts, everyone has to choose.

Wow! I haven't seen anything like this in a long time! What was strongest was the local gastronomy based on the cheapest ingredients and inspired by the school cafeterias. I rate only half board, we did not taste food from the standard menu. Cold cuts for various analogues form the basis of the menu. The food is not suitable for children (cabbage guards, sausages, fatty foods ...). Vegetarians have the option of ad hoc food orders, with the proviso that sometimes they do not receive anything. Breakfast was the same every day. Coffee could not be drunk. Tea was fruit / black (one day black, another fruit) - the opposite / other variant was charged. Accommodation: in the rooms you can hear a lot of noise from the hallway. There was no water in the sink in the room, after the repair, water flowed from the sink to the floor in the bathroom (no one came to wipe the floor in an emergency), the shower does not have a shower wall -> water in the bathroom. The room was not cleaned during the entire stay (once they brought 1 roll of toilet paper and once brought out a scythe). There was dust on the cabinets, fireplaces in the room ... There is a feeling of plush in the room. Personal: nice and willing to promise to solve the problem - but the event usually did not take place. The owner is at first sight / nice at the first meeting, but does not resolve complaints and deny the reality. Attached photo is a festive New Year's Eve menu for vegetarians.

Very friendly hotel and good service. The hotel is in a nice environment and the room was large and clean. Breakfast is rich and tasty, the only complaint we have for dinner in half-board was only one kind of food and take it or not. Maybe if we got in touch, we'd get to pick. A big advantage is the possibility of taking your pets with you. We recommend the hotel for us. We were at the hotel over Christmas. The hotel kitchen is mostly Czech.

Very nice place! Owners are friendly and nice people, sauna is soo good!

Hotel friendly, rooms with nice views. Infrasauna. Proximity to hiking trails. Great desserts. I was here through Slevomat, I can't judge breakfast for regular guests.

***If you have a change to visit other hotel please do that. Our visit there has been one of a biggist disappointment during our travelling last a couple of years. There are following points: heating is not used when should be, inside is strange a smell, basic things like TV, lights do not works. Cleaning of bathrooms is really poor. Finally the kitchen.... *** If you doupts about this a statement go there and persuade yourself.

Helpful staff, perfect breakfast-great choice, good dinner.Functional wifi in the room and worse room cleaning-dust on the bedside table, glued window sill and shelf in the bathroom. The room we had with the windows on the main road-terrible noise, could not even open.

On the whole nice place to relax. In a beautiful forest environment. But the owners are trying to see that they are not from the industry and their efforts then unnecessarily precipitate, for example, poor quality kitchen or repeated breakfast repeatedly (where you see marching people around the buffet in vain trying to find something that was not there before). The staff was generally very polite. Our room was divided into two rooms. The floor creaked in one section, and the noise and footsteps of the people in the hallway were heard. The second part was really nice, the noise wasn't heard, the furniture was new and the bed was pleasantly stiff. In addition, we had a room overlooking the Great Maple. The bathroom would need renovation. But she was clean again. In 5 days we did not even change the towel and there was a waste bin about 2 liters. Behind the hotel is a small playground with a trampoline and a ping-pong table. Free parking available.

I lost my way while going to Munich and stopped to sleep somewhere because of being tired. I was glad that I lost my way I ended up in the best place possible. I ended up staying 3 days, the staff was friendly, delicious food and when you wake up in the morning you get to see the best nature. Happy to lose my road, i will visit them soon again. If you want to relax this is the place.

We really liked the holiday in this hotel with a girlfriend, nice atmosphere, nice owners, breakfast super great choice, excellent Czech cuisine have a new chef here. We really liked it very much.

I recommend to all this hotel, which is by its location nicely accessible and everyone can not its own.All is clean, the staff is nice and helpful, price is very acceptable and even though it is already in the German part is much cheaper than many hotels in the Czech Republic . The food here is excellent and also thanks to the master chef who cooks like our mothers and grandmothers.Therefore, do not hesitate to vote for this hotel and perhaps just bet for a drink.
